“Last month, Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline suspended oil transportation due to repair works”, President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Rovnag Abdulayev told journalists.
According to him, Azerbaijan has oil in any volume for transportation via pipelines: “We started to repair refineries in July and directed the accumulated oil to Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline. Currently, all of our pipelines are available. We have opportunity to transport oil via any pipeline”.
SOCAR President noted that oil pumping via Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline will resume from today.
“We need Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline. This pipeline will export around 1.5 mln barrels of oil throughout the year”, Abdullayev said.
