Group of Syrians attempt to trespass to Azerbaijan

Three Syrian citizens were detained by the frontier police for the illegal attempt to cross the Georgian-Azerbaijani state border.

"Investigation revealed that the detained tried to cross the state border of Georgia in direction of Azerbaijan", the Interior Ministry reports, according to Sputnik-Georgia.

The investigation is carried by the investigation and operational department of the border police over the fact of illegal crossing of state border of Georgia by a group of people.

Syrians may be sentenced to four to five years.
