Azerbaijani army soldier dies in Gadabay fights

Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry has made a statement.

Armenian armed forces intensively fired at Azerbaijani positions in the direction of Goranboy, Terter, Agdam, Fizuli regions of the front, including at the section of the state border of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Gadabay throughout the day and night on July 24.

Oxu.Az reports citing the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan that in all cases our soldiers launched retaliatory fire and averted the provocations of the enemy which was obliged to retreat with at least five losses.

During the fights with Armenian occupants, Azerbaijani army soldier Eldar Fataliyev became a martyr.

The Defense Ministry expresses his deep condolences to his relatives.

It is also noted in the message that the Armed forces of Azerbaijan keep the situation on the front under their control and the combat spirit of the army is high.
