"Azerbaijanis will return to their historical lands, including Yerevan. There can be no doubt of it”.
We should combine our efforts toward an early settlement of conflicts and maintain good neighborly relations based on respect for the territorial integrity and sovereignty, Bahar Muradova, the vice-speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament and head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, said during the OSCE PA session on July 6.

Muradova said there is a need to avoid expressions such as “official support for the process of negotiation” or “hope for a solution”.

“We should take concrete steps toward the inadmissibility of the "status quo" in the in conflict zones. The OSCE and its Parliamentary Assembly should take urgent steps to end the torture of the millions of people displaced from their lands as a result of the conflicts,” the vice-speaker noted.

Muradova also responded to the objection of Artashes Geghamyan, the head of the Armenian delegation to the OSCE PA, to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s remarks that we will return to Yerevan and Zangazur.

“I would like to thank Mr. Geghamyan for mentioning it. Azerbaijanis will return to their historical lands, including Yerevan. There can be no doubt of it”, said Muradova.
