Baku condemns terrorist attack in Turkey

Baku strongly condemned the terrorist attack in the Suruc city of the Turkish province of Shanliurfa.
Azerbaijan’s foreign ministry expressed condolences to the Turkish people, relatives of the victims of the deadly terrorist attack, and wished speedy recovery to the affected.
Azerbaijan, as a country affected by terrorism, strongly condemns all its forms and manifestations, expressing solidarity with the fraternal Turkey in the fight against this phenomenon, according to the ministry.
The blast occurred in the garden of Amara Culture Center of the Suruc Municipality on July 20. Suruc lies opposite the Syrian flashpoint town of Kobani.
The suicide bomb attack in Suruc left at least 31 people dead. An unnamed official in the prime minister's office said nearly 100 people were also injured in the attack.
A Kurdish group linked to the PKK recently announced the end to a cease-fire with Turkish security forces. The PKK has been fighting the Turkish state since 1984 in a conflict that has seen more than 44,000 killed.
